This policy explains what information SakeTwin ("we") collects through this website, saketwin.com, and how we use it.
What we collect
When you sign up for early access, we collect:
- your email address,
- the month you plan to travel to Japan,
- your favorite sake, if you choose to tell us.
We do not ask for your name, and we do not collect payment information.
How we use it
- To email you when SakeTwin is ready, and to send occasional updates about the app before then.
- To understand, in aggregate, when people are traveling and which sake they like, so we can decide what to build and which sake to cover next.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with breweries, shops or advertisers.
Services we use
- Formspree receives the sign-up form and stores your submission on our behalf.
- Firebase Hosting (Google) serves this website.
- Google Fonts provides the typefaces on this website. Loading them sends your IP address to Google, as with any website that uses them.
These services may process data outside your country, including in the United States.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising cookies or analytics trackers.
How long we keep it
We keep your sign-up until you ask us to delete it or until we stop sending launch updates, whichever comes first.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails, or ask us to see, correct or delete your information by writing to the address below. We will respond within 30 days.
Age
This website is about alcoholic beverages and is intended only for people of legal drinking age in their country. We ask you to confirm this when you sign up, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant, we will tell you by email.
